The Sunless Citadel: A D&D Actual Play Podcast

Legend speaks of a fortress standing proud on the crown of a mighty mountain. Yet, during an unknown cataclysmic event after the Draconic Empire, the mountain split, swallowed the citadel whole, and sundered it from the benevolent light of the sun. In the years following, the fortress festered with rot and villainy, which transformed it into a dangerous place for heroes to traverse.
Our patchwork band of misfits will dive into the Sunless Citadel to rescue a wayward group of adventurers. Yet, this is not the only reason for their descent, as many are in search of a fabled apple that has the power to heal all ailments or wounds.
Will clashing motives tear this group of adventurers apart? Or is there a darker calamity growing stronger far from the sun’s reach?
